I’m Danielle, and I’m here to share my journey exploring the depths of my creative power.
🧵 I’ve been sewing since I was a tween, and I learned much of what I know from my mom and Learning The Hard Way. I sewed both my highschool prom dresses and even did a little costuming for the Shakepeare Players in uni. I have fallen in love with the online/indie sewing community and continue to be inspired by all the makers out there.
🧶 I discovered #knitstagram through the online sewing community and got inspired to make my first couple projects: a cowl and a shawl. I’m hooked! I’m delving into the realm of sweaters and socks, hoping to find my niche.
🎨 I started painting watercolor botanicals in 2019. It’s the hobby I choose to be bad at, simply because I love watching the water and pigments dance on the paper. You’ll see some of that here.
I am open to new crafts and new hobbies, so I'm sure I'll try more than just these three.
